Gail Shearer is a gifted communicator
with a background in teaching some of the most creative
and challenging people on this planet-adults! As a
teacher Gail taught English as a Second Language at
Fanshawe College in London, Ont. Teaching students
from such diversified countries as Russia, Poland,
Vietnam, and Czechoslovakia also meant helping immigrants
to learn about cultural differences and ways to cope
with the stress of change. Job search skills, resume
writing, interpersonal relationships and communication
were key skills taught by Gail.
Following
this, Gail made the successful transition into Sales
and Marketing with The Kettle Creek Canvas Clothing
Company. As manager of the London Franchise Gail was
in charge of buying stock, employee incentives and
Mall interpersonal relations. Gail's expertise in
time management, customer service, assertive communication
skills and organization were instrumental in creating
a successful and profitable retail store.
Her
love of houses drew Gail to an 11 year career in real
estate. Success quickly followed. She was awarded
the title of Ontario Listing Presentation Champion
in 1995. Gail then went on to consistently receive
Century 21's Outstanding Achievement Award for sales
success. Seeing a need for stress management within
her industry Gail created a credit course for realtors
called 'Stress Relief For Busy Bodies'. As a RECO
(Real Estate Council of Ontario) Approved Education
Provider she delivers seminars to realtors throughout
Ontario.
Weaving
together the golden thread of all of Gail's life experiences
has led her to this pivotal place whereby she reaches
out to help others to 'bloom where they're planted'.
